|Functional fitness builds a body capable of doing real-life activities. Functional fitness exercises train muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements someone might do at home, at work, in sport or on the battlefield. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability.
Our facilities are equipped to ensure physical fitness progression for the entire Fort Hood population, as well. Functional fitness exercises are designed to train and develop muscles to make it easier and safer to perform everyday activities.
