The BLORA Marina: Effective January 31, 2012 the Marina Operations and boat rental program has been modified as follow: The marina has expanded its wet slip rental program to 82 slips, wet slips may be rented at the BLORA administrative office. Wet slip rentals are limited to persons who are authorized Family and MWR patrons. For additional information, please contact BLORA Administrative office at 254-287-2523.
Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Waterfront activities are open - Enjoy paddleboats, Phantom Phlume waterslides and Sierra Beach Swimming 10am-8pm • 7 Days per week • open holidays
Waterfront activities will be based on availability of lifeguards and water temperature
POV gate fee for authorized MWR users is $2 POV | Gate fee for civilians is $8 during summer season (Apr-Sep)
Water activity hours of operation are 5 May 14 October and holidays, 10am-8pm.

WATER SLIDES AND PADDLE BOATS: The floating paddle boat dock offers four-seat paddle boat fun for BLORA patrons. Two 300-foot-plus water slides curve and plunge from the start tower down to the four-foot splash pool for thrills for the whole family. Both attractions are open to the public.
Covered family picnic shelters are located adjacent to the beach. The snack bar sells refreshments and features a patio deck that overlooks the beach area and beautiful Belton Lake. More than 300 family picnic sites and 143 covered picnic shelters, many with barbecue grills are scattered throughout the park.
| Boat & Equipment Rental |
Boat and equipment rentals have relocated to the Recreation Equipment Checkout Center. Rentals are limited to persons who are authorized Family and MWR patrons, and are properly licensed. All Family and MWR boats capable of towing skiers and tubers have been equipped with a flag, which identifies them as a tow boat. This same flag can also be used by the spotter to signal when a skier or tuber is down. For additional information, please contact Recreation Equipment Checkout Center at 254-287-1853.

All rental boats and equipment may be reserved 30 days in advance. Vehicles towing rental boats must meet minimum tow capacity. This may be checked by looking at vehicle owner’s manual, Gross towing capacity.

| Boater Safety |
| Open to the Public Unless course certification is desired - Certification is required to operate a boat in Texas. Texas Certificate is $13. Coast Guard Certificate is $15 and is transferable to other states. Every Texas boater under 17 years of age or born on or after 1 September 1993, must successfully complete an approved boat education course. All boaters, regardless of age, must complete the Boater Safety Test (Test Guide). The law is in effect for boats of 15 horsepower or more, windblown vessels over 14 feet and personal watercraft (i.e. Jet Ski). Course given by Coast Guard Auxiliary. | Skiing |
| IAW Texas Parks and Wildlife Water Safety Act and Fort Hood Boating Safety rules, there must be a licensed driver (age 17 or older) and a spotter (age 13 or older) for every motorboat towing a person on water skis. Watercraft Rental Contract: Authorized patrons must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid military I.D. card to complete contract requirements to rent watercraft rental items. |
| Boat Launch |
| Two boat ramps are available at BLORA, and ample parking space is provided for cars, trucks and trailers. The boat ramps are available for use by all BLORA boating patrons. |

Open and secured dry storage area lots for recreational vehicles are conveniently located at BLORA.
All-weather, open stand lot:

Dry storage is available for use for authorized DFMWR users only. Proof of ownership, comprehensive insurance and local contacts must also be provided by users.
